Mentoring

mentoringThe Clark School family is eager to support new engineering students in:

  • Transitioning into University life and the new set of expectations placed upon them
  • Successfully completing their first two years of study
  • Entering into their departmental programs fully prepared to complete their engineering curriculum

If you find yourself struggling with your coursework, having difficulty deciding what major is best for you, or just want the benefit of having an experienced member of the Clark School to ask questions to, you should consider requesting a mentor.

Mentors are selected among the Clark School’s experienced faculty and staff. Mentors are assigned no more than two students in any given year and are committed to providing new students with the guidance, support and encouragement needed in their first two years on campus.

To request a mentor:

Please contact Dr. Nicole Roop. She will insure that you are assigned a mentor who will support you during your first two years on campus.
